Chattanooga Wedding Photographers at the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC
We’re back at the The Biltmore Estate in Ashville NC and before we even get started on this let me just say that Photographing a Day After Session at the Biltmore is NOT a one day gig. We went all over The Estate going nuts waiting for people to clear out of the Biltmore House area so we could do our final sunset shoots there in front of the beautiful mansion. And…as Luck would have it…a storm roles in and we get cut short on those pics. But regardless, the Biltmore Gardens are a phenomenal site to see with incredible color, and architecture, The Biltmore Mansion is Incredible, and the whole Estate itself just gorgeous.
Our Couple got married there last year and we’re weren’t able to go and photograph the Wedding at that time, but because they had their wedding their, they came back to us and ask us to photograph their Day After Session a year later and we couldn’t resist! Weddings at the Biltmore are truly astounding and the Day After sessions are just icing on the cake. The only thing that I hated about it is that we had to get up there, scout the places to shoot and then shoot, so we had no real time to take in the scenery and look for the unobvious places to shoot, but no regrets on what we did get. Take a look.

Whether it be a Wedding Day After Session, Engagements or Bridals, Barnsley Gardens is an awesome place to have it. We’ve been at Barnsley alot this year and gotten some awesome pictures. Here’s our last session and just like the last couple we did, they had their pre wedding pictures at Barnsley Gardens as well. Barnsley Gardens is in Adairsville Ga and is a golf country club and resort but you certainly couldnt tell it by looking. It is an amazing place; A burned out three story mansion setting behind a botanical garden. And right in the middle of this garden…their famous fountain. You cant see pictures of Barnsley Garden without seeing pictures of their fountain.
Lets take a look at what we got this tiome from Barnsley!

We’re back and starting the wedding year off with a bang. This year’s wedding and bridal is with A Formal Affair put on the by the Chattanooga News Free Press. This was our first time being that the Formal Affair and I have to say it was no disappointment. We saw over 220 Brides to be and got to spend some time learning about their days!
This year’s headliner was Duff Goldman – the Ace of Cakes! In a cake contest to see who has the best wedding cakes! And who better to judge! Than the Ace of Cakes himself!
We start off our slideshow with Jennifer Sills – Owner of Cup a Dee Cakes. You can see her working on her masterpiece wedding cake along with the other cakes that were entered into the contest. Moving through the slides another impressive wedding cake is the Volkswagen. Out of all the cakes made, these 2 stood out more than any other. I was told by one of the judges that the Volkswagen cake looked more reminiscent of a groom’s cake and hands down, Cup a Dee Cakes had best of show!
Then we have our Wedding photography booth. This year we’ve changed our wedding price list to something a bit classier: Accordion style cards which were a big hit! Lots of people came to the booth didn’t want to touch them in fear of messing them up! Our booth was full of color and popping with vibrancy as we riddle the walls with pictures from our Weddings, Engagements, and Day After Sessions.
Next we have shots of various wedding vendors
Then, we are introduced to the Ace of Cakes, Duff Goldman to talk about small business and to share some of his experiences. This guy’s funny and down to earth.
Then we move on to the show where many beautiful dresses were modeled by ladies just as beautiful.
At the end of the show Duff comes back out and announces the winner of the cakes tasting contest and waves goodbye.
It was an awesome experience for me being about to shoot the show as I’ve never been able to this before. It’s been a while since we had picked up the camera due to our slow winter wedding season, only having 2 weddings in Dec and January. So I very much enjoyed trying something new with the catwalk and being able to shoot a celebrity.

Wow…its been awhile but we have lots to show you. As we’re winding up our wedding season and the spring has sprung, fall as fallen and now winter approaches, we’ll have time to add some of the fruit of our labor to this blog. We’ve been crazy busy the last fw months trying to play catch up and then October turns out to be one of the busiest months we’ve had…..ever.
This is Eric and Kristen. We had the priviledge of shooting their wedding at Patten Chapel last year at UTC. They Chose to include with their weddign a Day After Session and i must say…WOW!….Are we and they, glad they did. These 2 were amazing to photograph and the place could not be more perfect.
Due to the fact that there are so many pictures we want to show you, we’re dividing this up into 3 sections: the morning, afternoon and evening shoots.
This, my friends, is what Day After Sessions are all about.
We started off with sunrise session on Tybee Island beach. We were out before the sun came up and started working with off camera lighting in hopes to catch the sun rising out of the ocean…and we did.

After spending some relaxing personal time on the beach after the first session, waiting for the lighting to be just right we head off to Savannah where we start out in Forsythe Park and work our way down through Bull St. in the heart of Savannah. Let me jst say this…you cant get allof Savannah in one day. I wish we had more time there..it s like being in a differnt country that you never want to leave.
Here’s what we got in the little time we were there…
