TN Wedding and Portrait Photographers
We’re taking a step back to the first wedding we had this year, because we never really gave this wedding and reception the kudos it deserved. The wedding takes place at Second Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga and the reception at The Mill in Chattanooga.
The reason we’re going back to this wedding is that this is one of the most memorable receptions we’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing…and you’ll see why shortly.
But first, the wedding; Second Presbyterian Church is one of the coolest places in downtown Chattanooga to get married. Its old Historic church remodelled keeping as much of the original structure as possible. Second Presbyterian Church looks more like an Ampi-theatre than a church. A beatuifully crafted sanctuary that no matter where you sit, its not a bad seat. The pews wrap around the alter in an old theatre like setting. Just gorgeous! Have a look!
The Place, The Rings, The Dress….and the Ride…sweet!
The First Look is now rapidly taking over the ”not seeing eachother” before the wedding… The wedding is so much less stressfull because all the family pictures that stop the couple from getting to the reception with everyone else, can now be done beforehand and theres not wait to start the reception…everyone wins!
The Ceremony….Heres something to make a note of at ”2nd Pres” and other churches as well. The only time flash was used was this last pic (bottom right) with Tyler and Ashley leaving. Depending on who does the wedding, determines whether or not flash can be used. Be sure to check with all churches and see what their restrictions are. In this case…the pastor of the church did the ceremony so no flash…the next wedding we shot there was a different pastor so we could use flash.
The Entrance
The Kang!!!
And all His people.
Let me pause here for a sec to say this; Ive never seen a group of friends so tight. These guys, when you step into the atmosphere of these people, you can tell they really care about eachother…we should all be so lucky to have an awesome set of friends like this…also, this is the first time we’ve ever had the bride and groom picked up and did a mosh pit smooch!
And needless to say, throughout……the Party
This had come to be one of the most memorable weddings to date for us…not only was the couple and their freinds so fun to be around, but the lighting, the atmosphere, the love…it was incredible. We wish Tyler and Ashley all the best and Happy New year and in Just a few days…Happy Anniversary!!!
